With a passion for plan design and investment analysis, Jim assists businesses with the design, implementation and investment management of their employee and executive benefit plans. His goal is to help busy business owners attract, retain, and reward their best employees. As a business owner, Jim understands the long work nights and importance of stellar team players.
Jim’s areas of concentration include:
- Qualified Retirement Plan design assistance, with an emphasis on the management of New Comparability, Safe-Harbor, Alternative, and Cash Balance Plans.
- Executive Only Retirement Plans, Deferred Compensation Plans, and ERISA Excess Plans.
- Tax minimization strategies for high income small business owners.
- Fiduciary Risk Management.
To keep up to date with new ideas, Jim stays sharp by earning his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) and Profession Plan Consultant (PPC) designations. He is an active member of National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), the National Institute of Plan Administrators (NIPA) and the American Society of Pension Professional & Actuaries (ASPPA). Also, Jim loves acronyms.
Jim is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. He lives in Bellingham, Massachusetts, with his lovely wife Erin and their two daughters, Caroline and Lauren. In his spare time, Jim enjoys grilling and collecting wine. Ask him about the Pinot!

So, Michael became an independent advisor affiliated with LPL Financial, so that he could provide his clients with objective, impartial advice.
He offers attentive service and creative investment and insurance strategies tailored to fit the unique situations of successful individuals and organizations. As an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial, Michael practices a comprehensive approach to financial planning that incorporates investments, insurance, cash flow analysis, and estate planning while seeking to maximize tax efficiency within the framework of a prudently designed financial plan.
At PWMG, Michael’s area of concentration Include: keeping clients happy., diversified portfolio development through the use of asset allocation strategies, and fixed and variable insurance strategies for both individuals and organizations.
Michael holds the FINRA sponsored Series 7 and Series 66 registrations with LPL Financial; he also supports clients through his Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses.
As a constant learner, Michael is a member of several professional associations, including the National Financial Management Association (NFMA), the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Worcester Young Businessmen’s Association (WYBA), the Worcester Area Chamber of Commerce, Worcester Local First and the Worcester Community Action Council Advisory Committee.
After attending Saint Peter Marian Jr and Sr High School, Michael went on to graduate with honors from Bentley College, earning a B.S. Degree as a Major in Finance and a Minor in Law. In his time at Bentley, Michael was an active member of the Bentley College Finance Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Phi. Michael currently resides in Worcester, MA where he was born and raised.

Saving for retirement takes a long time and it’s not that fun. Well, Lou changes that! He helps businesses and individuals develop and implement effective retirement saving plans. Then Lou delivers the real conversations so you can work toward maximizing your lifetime retirement income.
Even though, Lou applies a holistic approach, he’s not that into yoga and has half a brain, he works to ensure each individual client’s specific investment strategies, insurance, cash flow, legacy, and tax efficiency goals are addressed through a prudently designed and continually monitored financial plan.
Lou received his B.S. in Business Management from Westfield State University and was member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. Lou is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), and Professional Plan Consultant (PPC).
After a decorated military career, Lou retired from service in March 2011 after 30 years of active and reserve duty. During his tenure, he served as Team Chief on three combat tours in Afghanistan & Iraq between 2005 and 2008; Lou continues to help with Veteran related issues with Western Mass organizations. Philanthropist at heart, Lou has served in leadership roles with his local Chamber of Commerce and serves as a director on the local Head Start board. Lou is a certified softball umpire, enjoys most athletic activities especially golf, kayaking, and serves a mean racquetball.

Jill Wasgatt is the Vice President of Operations for PWMG 401(k) Advisors. With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Jill manages the day to day operations of the firm and oversees the firm’s client service support staff.
Jill successfully earned her Professional Plan Consultant (PPC) designation, becoming one of the first women in the state of Massachusetts to do so in the process. Jill has also successfully obtained her Series 7 and Series 63 registrations through LPL Financial.
Out of the office, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys keeping up with celebrity gossip and reality television. She lives in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she was born and raised and graduated from Assumption College.
